Algots, Board Member
John Algots is the Director of Physical Resources for the
Fort Mojave Indian Tribe. He has been employed with the tribe
since October 1985. Mr. Algots has extensive knowledge in the
agricultural and resource management fields. Mr. Algots holds a
Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of California at
Davis. Mr. Algots also holds positions on the Board of
Directors for Avi Kwa' Ame Farms and the Water Education Foundation.

William
L. Cyr, General Manager
William L. Cyr is the General Manager of Aha Macav Power
Service (AMPS). He holds twenty-five (25) years of industry
experience. Mr. Cyr began his career as an entry level
engineer and acquired hands on engineering and operation experience
in distribution, transmission generation and communication systems.
Mr. Cyr's career progressed through various levels of managerial
responsibility - attaining senior executive level responsible for
operations, engineering, rates, labor relations, system security and
regulatory relations. Mr. Cyr holds a Bachelor of Electrical
Engineering Technology degree from the University of Maine. Mr.
Cyr also holds positions with the Council of Energy Resource Tribes,
Inter Tribal Council - Arizona, Resource Management Service Board,
APPA, Southwest Public Power Resource Group, Southwest Tribal Energy
Consortium. Mr. Cyr has previously held directorships as
Northern Maine Independent System Administrator, Maine Electric
Power Company-Vice President, Northern Maine Transmission Group,
and the Electric Council New England-Vice President.


The overall management of Aha Macav Power Service (AMPS) is done through a seven member Board of Directors and a General Manager. Initial Board of Director appointments were done by the Fort Mojave Tribal Council. Each Board member serves a three year term. The Board has delegated the day to day management of AMPS to the General Manager
